Members of the Orem Police Department visit Geneva Elementary kindergarten through third grade classrooms to model the importance of reading. This will be done for several weeks in February and March.

Our students believe that policemen and policewomen are HEROES. Hearing them read will help them to want to read like their HEROES. This is all part of the City of Orem Neighborhood Preservation effort to build relationships between those who serve and schools and families in Orem.

We appreciate Kena Matthews from Orem City and the nearly dozen members of the OPD for coming to Geneva and spending time with our students.

Go Orem Police!
